May 19 - Belief
2 Timothy 3:1-5
1 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God - 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them...
Does this sound familiar to you? It sounds like the world to me. I see all of the described sins everyday at work or at some point. This is in reference to the last days. We are living in the last days...
Again, I do not claim to believe that Christ will return on Saturday...although he has the capability of doing so. I find it humorous however, that the Atheists and non-believers are throwing a "Rapture Party". Here's why:
Atheists are people who do not believe in God or any other god or deity that might be considered as powerful. So here are these people who deny the existence of God or anything else, but yet they buy into the idea of the rapture on Saturday. Therefore, they really aren't atheists because they believe. Whether they come out and say it or not, they in fact, believe that God exists. If they didn't believe they would go about their own business on Saturday without giving any attention to the possibility of Christ's return.
So, to all the Atheists out there...since you have discovered that you believe or at least acknowledge the existence of God, try to continue to believe and attempt to open your heart and mind to something bigger than you or anything on the planet.
